food for thought

It’s really strange that in America – a nation with no official religion and founded on the freedom of religion – we can’t say “Happy Holidays” without a Christian being offended that we didn’t say “Merry Christmas” instead

I have that here on occasion and it’s ridiculous because it’s not even on Christ’s birthday but rather has more to do with the Winter Solstice. Conservative media outlets drumming issues where none exist, so those that correct you are only showing their own gull as well as being inept of thought.
Next time they correct you just say, “Merry Winter Solstice!” And witness their confidence go into confusion. lol
