The march of marriage equality.

It’s still hard to believe that I witnessed the first moments of marriage equality the very night I graduated from college at Boston University.  That historic evening in 2004, the first same-sex marriages were performed across the river in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  Living in Massachusetts for the past 7 years, I began to take marriage equality for granted – all while realizing that my LGBT brothers and sisters in other states were suffering.

This video has been circulating the web – I found it thanks to Ezra Klein, and wanted to share it with everyone out there who never thought this day would come, and to those who are still having a hard time believing it actually happened (myself included!).  It truly demonstrates that the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice.
